I'm all about local, organic, free-range/vegetarian anything. I will also DESTROY a hot dog and some nacho cheese at a ball game, and let's be honest- bacon is one of the best things in life.  


But mostly I cook and eat vegetarian and the occasional meaty indulgence is thoughtful, deliberate, and rare in both frequency, and temperature. Get it? Eh? See how that works? yeah... food puns.


As a chef's kid and one-time high-end restaurant cook (during summers in college), I try to balance my deep appreciation for quality meat proteins and cheeses with the health, environmental, budget-friendly, and ethical benefits of maintaining a vegetarian kitchen.
